Golang Job: Finxact Backend Software Developer

What does a successful Backend Software Developer do at Fiserv?

As a Back-end Developer, you will be working in an application design and development role on the Core as a Service platform. You will be creating new software and enhancing existing software using cutting-edge technology to provide solutions for banking and financial institutions.

What you will do:

The type of activities expected to be performed at this level include, but are not limited to:

• Work with business analysts, engineers, and other system users to understand and implement their application requirements
• Work with partners to understand their implementations and gain a breadth of knowledge in cloud-based SaaS implementations and technologies
• Provide quality software, improve test coverage and the overall quality of the systems

What you will need to have:

• 3-5+ years' experience in backend software application development for Information Technology, banking, loan servicing, deposit operations, card processing, and/or CRM systems.
• A background in Object Oriented programming with at least one of the following programming languages needed: Go/Golang, C#, C++, Java, Python.
• RESTful services experience.
• Experience analyzing and interpreting data, as well as discussing business and technical topics. Technical analysis, design, and development skills.

What would be great to have:

• Familiarity of core banking processes and software.
• Swagger, Json data interchange, and GIT.
• Familiarity with Golang/Go.
• Experience with docker, containers and AWS.

Location/Travel

• Remote (telecommute) position within the contiguous United States.
• Minimal travel (<5%) for occasional team meetings.
